Maersk Oil maintains their great involvement in Offshoreenergy.dk; the national cluster organisation and innovation network for the offshore industry.
When one of the vice chairmen of Offshoreenergy.dk, Kurt Normann Nielsen, retires from Maersk Oil and thus naturally withdraws from Offshoreenergy.dk’s board of directors, he is succeeded by Ole Hansen, Asset Manager of Dan-Halfdan at Maersk Oil.
In this way, Ole Hansen will together with Jesper Møller, Head of Offshore Concepts & Solutions at Siemens Wind Power, as of May 2017 represent the two vice chairmen of the board of directors.
”We want to thank Kurt for a great effort in creating a powerful cluster organisation and we look very much forward to continuing the good cooperation with Ole Hansen”, says the chairman of Offshoreenergy.dk’s board of directors, Anders Eldrup:
”Maersk Oil is the largest player in oil/gas in Denmark and it is thus pivotal for Offshoreenergy.dk’s mission to be versatile in the entire offshore cluster that we have a dedicated Maersk Oil onboard. I am sure that we will still have this with Ole Hansen as a vice chairman”, says Anders Eldrup.
Ole Hansen also looks forward to the cooperation:
”I look forward to entering Offshoreenergy.dk’s board of directors and thus contribute to the strong cooperation. It is essential for the entire offshore industry to cooperate closely across the industry and use the synergies where possible; as an example, when it is about safety and technological innovation, where I am sure that we can still learn a lot from each other”, says Ole Hansen.
